How it started
Turngate was born from a frustration Bruce faced during his career as a CISO. While plenty of tools existed to monitor cloud infrastructure, there was nothing that gave the same level of visibility into the SaaS world. His team struggled with blind spots such as who was using what services, how to track security incidents, and even how to investigate and troubleshoot day-to-day issues when the native tooling from each SaaS provider varied widely.
Relying on these scattered native SaaS tools or stitching together home-grown dashboards on top of Datadog or an ELK stack wasn’t cutting it. So Bruce set out to build the product he always wished he had.
What we're building
At Turngate, we’re focused on SaaS security operations. Our mission is to give teams clarity and visibility into what’s happening across their SaaS environments - speeding up investigations, simplifying audits, surfacing user activity, and demystifying *waves hands wildly* everything going on behind the scenes.
But here’s the key: we’re making it simple. You shouldn’t have to be a cybersecurity supernerd or an IT wizard to figure out what’s happening when an account is compromised or a file is accessed. With Turngate, you can cut through the noise and look across SaaS platforms with a single click.

Bruce Potter
Bruce founded Turngate to build the tool he always wanted but wasn’t available during his stints as a CISO (pronounced “ciz-oh,” a hill he’ll die on). He’s been doing cybersecurity things for nearly 30 years and fills his spare time exploring hobbies by breadth (not depth).
Heidi Potter
In her role as Chief Operating Officer, Heidi looks out for all the Turngators while making sure Turngate operates smoothly and efficiently. She also runs ShmooCon, volunteers for many causes, and periodically does long distance touring, either by bike or by foot.
Kyle Fiducia
Kyle is our ninja-like CTO at Turngate. When he's not fending off cyber threats with a keyboard, he's mastering the art of non-extreme sports in extremely entertaining ways, leaving a trail of broken bones that make you wonder if he moonlights as a stunt double for action heroes on his days off.
